Prophet’s Rock Recognized Across Three Categories in The Real Review Top Wineries 2025 Awards

We are proud to share that Prophet’s Rock has been named a finalist in three categories of The Real Review’s inaugural Top Wineries of New Zealand 2025 Awards.

The Real Review’s new awards, judged by Stephen Wong MW, Jane Skilton MW, and Dr. Jo Burzynska, recognize excellence not only in winemaking, but in the deep relationship between vineyard and winery. The Vigneron of the Year category in particular honors those who are directly involved in farming as well as production—a philosophy that has guided Prophet’s Rock since its founding.

Paul Pujol’s nomination for Vigneron of the Year acknowledges two decades of work refining our Central Otago vineyards and wines, with a focus on site expression, hands-off winemaking, and enduring structure. His collaboration with François Millet on Cuvée Aux Antipodes further deepens our commitment to the Burgundian tradition of letting place speak above all else.

We are honored that both our Cuvée Aux Antipodes Blanc and Vin de Paille Pinot Gris have been selected as finalists for Wine of the Year awards. These wines reflect our focus on precision, restraint, and the unique character of our Bendigo sites.

Final results will be announced as part of The Real Review’s Top Wineries Awards Feature Week.

We extend our congratulations to all fellow finalists and our thanks to the judging panel for this recognition.
